HOME The Petsalon ('Cap Salon') has now been in business for more than 20 years and has a great reputation in the Jordaan district of Amsterdam and in the rest of the world. A cosy, old-fashioned shop, specializing in all sorts of headwear for woman and man; but the cap is the basis. This means that most of our designs are functional: warm in winter, cool in summer, and wind -resistant. But they are also always comfortable, flattering and original. A cap designed by Ans Wesseling can be easily recognized. There is a new collection every season. Ans's favourite material is leather; for the colder seasons she works with fake or real fur and wool and for the warmer days with linen, silk and perforated leather. All of our items are produced in our adjacent studio, so that - if necessery - every item can be made to suit your personal specifications. Ans never accepts people saying 'hats and caps never suit me'. On the contrary, she regards it as a challenge to adorn everybody's head tastefully, accentuating their personality.
